Project Description: Improvements to junction 28 of the M4.

Value Engineering: Managing the programme to ensure each phase was completed in a timely manner.

Project Description: Drainage improvement works within the Highway.

Value Engineering: Recycling the tarmac and old subbase for reuse.

Project Description: Secant pile wall and capping beam to support the highway masonry wall.

Dates: Start June 2020 – ongoing.

Project Work Types: Pile cropping, RC works, retaining walls, Earthworks.

Project Delivery: In house resources, Piling subcontract.

Project Specialities: Small site with minimal operating space.

Environmental: Managing noise levels for the local community.

Value Engineering: All works completed from the rear of the wall to minimise disturbance to the highway A4119.

Client Feedback: Greatly assisted the Site Manger with forward thinking and planning, the weekly programmes helped complete the first phase early.
